Beauty Cosmetics
Most people use beauty cosmetics every day of their lives. Women want to look and feel their best, and the right cosmetics certainly help.
Beauty cosmetics have the ability to enhance your natural beauty by covering up any small imperfections. On today’s market, there are cosmetics for almost any need. Makeup allows you to emphasize the positive and accent what makes you unique and beautiful.
The Basics
Because makeup and cosmetics are designed to allow you to change, camouflage, minimize, emphasize or illuminate, you need to have an idea of what you want from your cosmetics. Here are some basic tips:
- It's easy to remove your makeup with makeup wipes or makeup pads. I recommend Neutrogena or Almay.
- Remove leftover mascara with a Q-tip dipped in mascara remover.
- If oily skin is a problem, buy cosmetics designed specifically for your skin type, including moisturizer.
- You should throw away any cosmetics, including makeup, beauty products, and skincare, after a certain length of time. Many beauty products have an expiration date on them. Keep your cosmetics up-to-date. Replace your mascara every three months.
- Apply your concealer in many thin coats instead of one thick coat. The concealer lasts longer and looks better. Covergirl or Mac are two of my personal favorites.
- When purchasing a new foundation, test the color on your inner arm or neck, instead of the back of your hand. Look at it in natural daylight to make sure it is not too light or dark for your skin.
- Instead of spraying on a heavy application of perfume or cologne, which often makes the fragrance too strong, apply a light coat. Use a hand lotion, powder, or body cream, with the same scent, to compliment your cologne.
- If possible, test any lip color or eye shadow on a piece of white paper and take it outside. Not only can you see what they look like together but also you see the true color, instead of under artificial lighting.
Permanent Cosmetics
Over the last few years, permanent cosmetics have become more popular, especially beauty marks, eyeliner, eyebrows, and full lip color. Specialists use topical cream anesthetics before performing a permanent cosmetic procedure. Women that have very thin eyebrows, are allergic to most cosmetics, have no natural color in their lips, or wear contact lenses often choose this over conventional beauty makeup. Before you decide on any beauty cosmetics procedure, carefully check out the technicians qualifications, along with references.
Cosmetics are meant to enhance your natural beauty, and bring out your true, vibrant self!
