Remember when we were little, and the Avon lady would leave those little makeup samples, especially the tiny lipsticks? And when Mom was out, the excitement of putting the lipsticks and blue eyeshadows on the counter and trying each color on? Remember how that blue eyeshadow and pink lipstick made us feel glamorous and all grown up? I remember smiling back in the mirror with no self-conscious judgment of myself.

Now, here we are as grownups and looking in the mirror constantly with a critical eye. I think it's time we smile at ourselves and feel beautiful. Every woman is her own theater. Always remember that you're a unique and special gift to the world. Be proud of that fact.
